I went on the spur of the moment up to Grouse Mountain with Jason Rueck, Bryce, Chris DeM., and James. Here are some of the pictures I took of the scenery!

Here are pictures from CG Interns day in Disneyland and week at the LA Dream Center on our short term missions trip down there. It was an amazing time of learning and just trying to take in what we could. I learned a lot about the passion and excitement they have for ministry and serving down there.

Some pictures from when Derek and I went exploring Stanley Park and ended up being a bit directionally challenged and did a lot of zig-zagging. It was fun.

For bootcamp for the Cedar Grove Baptist School of Interns, we went up to Westminster Abbey and stayed up at Hemlock Mountain in a Cabin. We had an amazing time encountering God through reading over 8 books of the New Testament and as we worshiped. We also got the amazing opportunity of being prophesied over and having a friend of God, Noah, speak to us and share with us. He also made us all very very excited about our missions trip to India in January

Arise, (formerly known as Solid Rock), went to the United Church Camp for our end of summer retreat from August 25-28. I went up one day early with the YDS team because I was on the band and we had lots of setup to do. Praise God, it did not rain for the whole week and we had some sunny and rain free weather!!

Most of the grads from Solid Rock went camping together up at Stef’s cabin. The girls stayed in a tent trailer, guys in Taj Ma-Robbie (AJ’s huge tent) and Stef’s parents and siblings in the cabin.
We had an awesome time. We spent Saturday and Sunday down at Kawkawa Lake in Hope, BC. We mostly tubed, but Jason, Calin, Cherysh and Jon, tried out wakeboarding. There was also lots of boat rides and opportunities for people like to me to take photos. So heres a bunch of photos from our awesome weekend.

On Father's Day, June 15, 2008, we went as a family to Lynn Canyon for a short hike.

My third grad friday in a row. This one was with youth group at church. It was a good time and we got full service waiters . AJ kind of took advantage of that by making them pour water into his glass when the pitcher was right in front of him. Oh, Bryce wore a pink suit. It’s awesome!

Well this year I had this massive party all rolled into one. I had my birthday and grad party and had my aunts, and uncles over as well as friends. Earlier in the afternoon, Rebekah, Zack, AJ and we made a very random movie. Later on Mark and Francesca arrived and we hung out and amused ourselves in many ways. Jordan’s family along with Nathanael came and we hung out till dinner and after dinner went outside for a bit. It was a fun day which we ended off with watching August Rush.

We had the Inter-A Grad Dinner at a nice golf course in White Rock, for which the name escapes my mind at this moment. The dinner was a buffet of all sorts of great food. I was at a table with Doug’s Family and Mr. Blenman. We had a great time and I got the Vollrath-Harper Scholarship which is quite an honour. It is for someone with special character and attitude, etc. Oh and don’t forget about the McDonald’s Sign we saw on the way to drop Nathanael off at home.

On June 3rd, I went out to the Abbey Arts Centre which is connected to Abbotsford Collegiate to see my friend Francesca play. She played in so many different groups I had my head spinning. I also got to see her brother Andreas play in the drum line, that was pretty awesome!

Well, my Saturday started soon after my 2 hours of sleep. Francesca and I met Mark and Tiffany, two friends, at the Guildford Tim Hortons to head off to North Vancouver. But first at 8:15, I got a phone call from Mark and I was half asleep as he talked to me and I told him we were meeting at Tim Hortons. Since this wasn’t part of the original plan for him to be with Tiffany, I was very confused. I ended up checking my caller Id afterwards thinking that it was all a dream.
So we all went down to North Vancouver, and saw the Lynn Valley Days Festival, and then went to Lonsdale Quay for lunch and explored afterwards. Francesca got seriously dissed by Mark as she stood over the parking space labelled “Reserved for ICBC”. He told her that the reason she was in the reserved space was because she was an accident waiting to happen. We also got to see Francesca play in the Music Festival

Well, grad was fun. I brought Francesca, my beautiful “date” with me to grad, and we had a great time. First was the dinner dance, but we didn’t do much dancing, didn’t really like the music. The food was great though.
We ended up hanging out and chatting about all sorts of things. Then at 11pm we were taken on buses to the boat cruise where we ended up just hanging out again. I really didn’t mind that much. It was great to take it easy and have fun.
At about 4:40am after some delays we headed to the school where we got picked up and her and I took a quick nap at my house for 2 hours.
